OVERVIEW

The DSP-428II is a four input, eight output Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with additional AES/EBU input and FIR filters intended for use in loudspeaker processor units and system amplifiers for professional audio. Available in four performance levels and using only the best sounding components available, its unrivalled audio quality and feature set match the highest standards.

DESCRIPTION

DSP-428II is UNiKA's new generation speaker processor. It has built-in three new generation DSP clusters. In addition to maintaining the original 64bit conversion depth. The sampling rate has been increased to 96KHz. And each output provides a 384 taps FIR filter. And built-in newly developed RTA and noise generator. Users can connect an external USB test microphone to a computer or connect the test microphone via an external sound card bus or Dante DVS, then perform RTA measurements and record FIR calculation data to correctly correct the filter phase. Of course, you can also import FIR files through other testing software. Such as FIR Designer, REW or RiTA, etc. DSP-428II simplifies the operation panel. Only the MUTE button of the output channel and 6 PRESET call buttons are left. The physical operation process is greatly simplified. Advanced users can make detailed adjustments and settings through the original operating software. And store any 6 of the 100 presets to the device. The new LCD display also simplifies content. Only the networking IP address and the currently used default name and number are retained. There is a 100MHz TCP/IP network socket on the back of the device. It can be directly connected to a computer or integrated into a general LAN switch or router. It is strongly recommended to use a network with a router to connect, and the router will automatically assign an IP.
