DESCRIPTION
The POWER 4800 power sequencer can sequentially power up your equipment with 1-second delay in between and power down with 2-second delay in reverse order.
The POWER 4800 power sequencer is equipped with 16 American standard outlets with 3 individual LINE terminals for power inputting (common NEUTRAL). The 16 outlets are internally grouped in 5-5-6 style and, by default, the POWER 4800 virtually works as 3 independent power sequencers for each of the 3 power source inputs respectively. The 3 group settings and buttons are used to memorize the assignment for 3 power sources to sequentially distribute their power to their corresponded grouped outlets. The POWER 4800, alternately, can also work as a single sequencer by simply paralleling all the 3 LINE terminals and powering them by a single power source. With the implementation, user can get maximum benefit from all the 16 outlets and the POWER 4800 can distribute the power source to any combination of 16 outlets sequentially.
All the functionality, including the 3 group settings, on the font panel can be remotely controlled via RS-232 interface on the rear. It is possible to cascade up to 15 sets of POWER 4800 in the same RS-232 link with scheme of daisy chain. The device ID for every cascaded POWER 4800 can be set from its DIP switch on the front panel.
Besides the features mentioned above, the POWER 4800 can also work in toggle mode which allows user to manually toggle on/off every outlet by individually pressing the 16 switches on the front.
The POWER 4800 has total capacity of 9600watts and an 80amps rating. It has additional surge and spike protection for each outlet to keep your rack safe from unwanted disruption.
The POWER 4800 power sequencers are all made in sturdy, 2U rack space, and rack-mounted designed.
